The narrator tells us that the people at the bird house thought that it was a good idea to capture them, even though it was against the law to do so. He says that even though he and Yuuhi are friends, they should never have met because they are forbidden from doing so by the law. The narrator also says that it is wrong for the bird people to associate with people who are not their friends.
