Back in the garden, Casanova begs to be brought back. He's not done with the hunt yet, and he needs someone to help him out. Casanova tells him that the rules of the hunt are simple: "the safety is always on" . He says that Casanova is helpless and has no memory of what he did or why he was looking for him. He hopes Casanova enjoyed his meals, paid enough for it, and is ready to go on the hunt. He tells Casanova that he can drop him somewhere within a year's time, and Casanova says that's a good time to do it. He also says that he doesn't understand why Casanova would want to know what's going on with him, since he's just a "dilettante" who's on for "payback." Casanova asks if Casanova's scared, and the two men say that they don't need to talk about Casanova if they want to do what they want. They're just going to do whatever they want, without worrying about what anyone else might think. They also say that the rector general is stupid, because he has no "flexibility" , and his form isn't "execrable." They say that whatever they do, they're not going to let anyone else do it, since they've already done it. They all agree that the guy is a "stupid rector general" and that he has "no flexibility and his forms are execrable" ; they also agree that he is "stupid" because of his lack of "flexibility."
