About This Chapter
The narrator tells the audience that the results of the reader's questionnaire for the "Lamarie" feature have been very good. The narrator is concerned that the readers will be skeptical of the project, but he is convinced that they will be more interested in the topic of hunting than in the subject of Lamarie's writing. He asks the narrator to continue with the project. He tells her that he will do his best to make her say that she loves him. He says that he has to confront him "properly" so that he can "get car venried away" and "think about it like him or her." The narrator asks if he just feels "because le savedrox = / my life" . He then asks if she came to see him, and she says that she just happened to be on the way to work and was on her way home from the restau rant. She then tells the narrator that the food was delicious and that she was glad she accepted the interview. She says that the cream on her cheek makes her blush, but the narrator assures her that she will be able to accept the interview
