About This Chapter
In this short scene, the two students discuss their mutual love for the slam-dunk comedy Slam-du-Slam. The two discuss the fact that they have become close in the past few weeks, and they decide to do something special for each other after the play. They decide to go to Keke's home to clap for her at the end of the school day, and to stop her father from going to his business engagement. They also decide to perform a physical exam together. The doctor tells the students that they cannot take another person's health records, and that they are not permitted to take anyone else's records. They are allowed to perform the physical exam, and the doctor tells them that their blood pressure, blood sugar level, and eyesight are all normal. The students then discuss why they feel so alone in their lives. The girl says that she often feels that there is only one person in her world, and she feels bitter and dull because everything in her life was so dull. She asks the students if they would like to study together, and one of them says yes.
