In this chapter, Roxane tries to convince Roxane that she's not a woman if she keeps grinding inside of her. She tells him that she can't move if he keeps tightening up around her like that, and that he's just "too sexy" for her. When Roxane wakes up, she finds that they've started drinking without her. Roxane is disappointed in herself for being so protective of Roxane. She says that sometimes she looks back and thinks, "I'm always looking back at my mis takes." Roxane says that she was too protective of her when it came to Roxane, and she ended up "snapping" again. She blames it all on her not having enough self-control. She feels like she has to pull herself together more, so she does anything she can to help her, but when she talks about how she wants to help Roxane with her work, her eyes are "sparkling," and she thinks that everyone around them thinks she is strong, but it's only because she is so protective.
