About This Chapter
Seizing the moment, Ren tells her lover that she's sorry for hurting him, and that she wishes he'd been nicer to her when she was a kid. She tells him to go get her, whenever he could, and she'll teach him anything he needs to know. She's going to school, she says, but she doesn't want to cram for it, so she wants to go to the same school as everyone else. Seizing on the opportunity, she tells him that he's on cleaning duty, so he should just go gether whenever he can. She also tells him not to try to fob off the situation onto her, as she was trying to figure out how to be independent when she went to school. When she met her, she felt like she was completely different from who she used to be, but when she told him what she was doing was wrong, she was afraid. She apologizes for hurting her, and says she'd never think poorly of her if she didn't have her by her side. She says that she was supposed to be able to gain some self-confidence when she moved into the apartment with her, but that when she met him, he felt like he was a totally different person from the person she was before. He tells her that he was sorry because he was afraid that she would feel the same way. He says that if she had been by his side, he would never have been able to think badly of her. He also says that the reason she is so kind to him is because he has faced many hard ships, and he says if he were to get scared off, that would be a waste, because he and Ren are doing what they love. They should just say, "screw it," and tell their selves that it will all work out.
