The next morning, Huck wakes up to find that his sister has told him that she has just had a heart-to-heart with a man named Shuchi. Huck asks Shuchi how he managed to get all of his new clothes, and Shuchi tells him that he bought them from a fashion magazine. Huck is upset that Shuchi has treated him so poorly, but Shuchi assures him that it was all for his own good. Huck wonders if Shuchi got the sketches from the magazine, and he asks if he can take a look at them. Shuchi says that he did, and Huck thanks him for giving him the sketches. Huck tells Shuchi that he is not the type to go out for a girl just because she is a woman, because he hasn't had one since high school. He says that she would have silky hair, smell nice, and have a "stubborn streak" that would make him feel like he's been "met some one recently" who fits his description of a woman. Huck says he feels like he has met someone "who fits that description almost ly" . He wants to go on a date with Shuchi, but he doesn't know what to do with the theme for the date. He decides to go with a "park date" with strings around his neck, with a girl on the other side of the bow, and a girl wearing a lovely outfit. Huck notices that the girl is fidgety, and asks her if she knows who he is. She replies that she does not, but Huck assures her that she will be able to recognize him soon enough.
