They're talking about the fact that they're having sex in the new world, and the narrator says that he's enjoying it. The two men are interrupted by the sound of someone's voice. The narrator asks the other men if they interrupted him, and they all agree that they did. The other men say that they didn't, because they were interrupted by someone else, and that they ended up having sex as a group, rather than as a sex party. The men leave, and we learn that the narrator was going to propose to the other man on christ's birthday, but he was interrupted by another man.
