In this chapter, Lis continues to count the number of soldiers in the fortress. He finds that there are 72, including the new recruits who joined the group recently. He thanks the other soldiers for their hard work and tells them to go back to their posts and report back to him as soon as possible. He asks Lis if there will be a horde of zombies coming, and Lis replies that he is bored with shooting live targets. He then asks if Lin is flirting with him, and he tells him that he will not tease him anymore. Lis then tells the group that there is too much of a horde, and that they will definitely lose. He promises to be on the front lines and leave his defense to them all.
