Mr. Fu arrives at the police station to find that Miss Ju has run away. He asks Miss Ju if she has seen Miss Ju, and Miss Ju tells him that she has. Miss Ju asks if she can report the incident to the police. Mr. Fang tells her to leave the matter to her, but Miss Ju says that she can't believe that her brother-in-law would treat her like this. She says that if the incident were her fault, she would never allow it to happen to anyone else. The police officer tells the family that they can just settle the matter at home, without having to go to court. The aunt of Miss Ju agrees, saying that Miss Jo is no longer a child, and that she should not be so reckless with others. The uncle agrees, and the aunt tells Miss Ju that if she needs anything else, they'll meet it. The family decides to settle it outside of court
