The doctor tells Mr. Hang that the young woman has fallen off a building, and that she is very weak. He suggests that she take some medicine to help her get back on her feet. Hang is horrified at the idea of a young woman jumping off of a building. He begs her to give him the bracelet that she dropped, but she refuses, saying that she wants to keep the bracelet as a memento. He threatens to shred the bracelet if she does not obey him.
