If Only We Could

In this chapter, Tommo explains how he feels about losing someone he loves. He returns home and finds that his old friend, Geon, has been killed in a fight with another student. Tommo and Geon had never spoken of each other before, but after his friend's death, the two of them become friends again. After that, he is made to "forget about geon" and forget about the happiness he once felt. He continues to date people he doesn't love, and he feels that he has no control over his relationship with his father.
