He asks habibi what happened to his face, and he says that he'll write his own sequence of events. He also says that lucia is going to see his past when she comes back from dallas, and she'll be unhappy with him for it. He says he needs to get the case from her before they part ways, so that he can tell her what he needs her to do in order to stop the "anomalies" and the "lone wolf shit" that's about to happen. He doesn't want to bring in the agents, he says, because if he does, "more people will die" and time travel "will still exist." He wants to destroy the "accelerators," the "higgy," and "the drift suits," and he wants to "say goodbye" to lama, nai, belize, and stow away at the "bta drift site" . He tells lama to "stow wid apa" , which is Latin for "to say goodbye." He says that this time, lama and nai don't like it, because they're tired of the "corny daykeeper" routine. He decides to "reconsider my thoughts" on time travel.
