The narrator is late for his date because he's late for work. He's bummed out because his girlfriend has a boyfriend, and he wants to know how he got her. He tells us that his friends all left the university club where they used to hang out, and now they're all gone. He can't sleep in his room because he doesn't know where his girlfriend is. He tries to wake her up, but she won't come out of her room. So he takes her to a hotel, where she's starving. The narrator tells his friend to stay with him that night, so he can "suck the soft touch" that he feels from her breasts. He also tells the friend that this is his first time watching a woman, and that he thinks he has a "special talent" for it. He says he'll call him after class, and then he gets a job as a nude model, which pays him $500 a day.
