Deck of Fates

In this chapter, the young master of the Elements meets up with his arch-rival, the Master of the Night. The two of them discuss the future of the world. The Master explains that he is now on a time-limit and that he must choose one element to master. He tells the young Master that he feels that each element has the same power as the other, and that this power is the prime element of the universe.
