In this chapter, we learn that Jack has been using moonlight to copy people's things into his magical mirror. He's also been using the mirror to make copies of himself and his friends to help out with the town's jump-scares. Everyone is freaking out because they can't figure out who the real people are, and they don't trust the mirror. So, they're going to have to figure out a way to figure it out themselves. The mayor suggests that they all go outside and find mirrors for each of them, and then they'll all be able to use the same mirror to copy each other's stuff.
