The next morning, the girls discuss what they're going to eat for lunch. They decide to have "snail noodles" , but they don't want to eat too spicy, so they'll just have "spicy" snail noodles. They're not going to tell the girl what to do when someone offends her, so she'll memorize the answer herself. The girl, however, is very talkative, and the smell of snail noodles will kill her. The girls are surprised to learn that the girl has been drinking the school's canteen soup, and that it's not as good as the one they've been eating. They also learn that this girl has a scar on her left eye and that her hair sticks out at a 45 degree angle. They wonder if the rich people at the school are really bad behind closed doors, and they wonder if this is what the girl was referring to when she said that she'd deal with the rich. She's right. The rich people are bad, the girl says, because they'd rather have nothing to eat than to have something to eat. She also says that she saw what happened between the rich and the poor during the recess, and she's sure that the rich person is the one who stole the food from her. She tells the girl to go to the school to find out if the girl's mom is too cheap to buy food for her to eat, and if she even has enough money to buy meat for her.
