About This Chapter
The next morning, the two girls are alone again. They have been avoiding each other for a while, and the girls are trying to convince each other to get along again. The girls try to make each other feel better, but they can't get past the fact that they're not really friends anymore. They're just not in a good enough place to be friends. They try to get the girls to agree to do something together, like participate in a school sports festival. They even try to convince the girls that they don't have to fight anymore, but the girls can tell it's not going to work out. They start to make fun of each other's looks, and then the girls start making fun of the boys' looks, too. Finally, the girls get to the point, and they start talking about the fight, and how the boys didn't hit anyone, and that the girls had to prepare knee guards to make up for it, and so on. They finally decide that they have to grow up with each other.
