In this chapter, the two young people discuss their sexual awakenings. The narrator tells the story of how he and Mina became friends in middle school and then became best friends in high school. Mina tells the young people that she went to the school that Mina used to go to, which is in the "borhood" of New York City. Mina says that she and Mina didn't know that they were gay until they were in their early 20s, when they went into the "gay district" for the very first time. Mina decides to set up a "people.com" to help people who are "confused about their identity" like herself.
