The narrator complains to his boss that he's been woken up by his subordinate, who is sleeping on his lap. He begs to be moved to a different room, but his boss insists that they'll have to stay in the lobby. The narrator, however, can't understand why his boss would want to sleep on the opposite side of the wall from him. He's also worried that his sleeping partner will get a cold, which would make him even more miserable.
