About This Chapter
It's been a long sleepless night for the young salesman. He's had to put in a lot of hard work to make sure that his boss is happy with what he's doing. He tells his boss that he feels "good to las" for the first time in his life, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. He says that he has to put all this energy into his work. He asks if there's anyone else working at the company, and then asks if anyone is looking for a particular product. The salesman says he'll show them to him, and the salesman says that the fabric is "quite breathable" and "heat well" and that it's a good choice for a "tenure" . He also says that his company is hiring "skilled employ ees" , which means that they're looking for people who know how to work in the company. He shows the salesman a futon, which the salesman thinks is "amazing" because of its breathability and heat. He then tells the salesman that the salesman is sleeping outside, too, and asks if the salesman's rubbing as usual, and he says he is. He thanks the salesman for all his hard work, and thanks for the product proposal that he submitted. He goes on to say that thanks were all due to the fact that he stepped up to help with the problem with samples, and it was all because the salesman stepped in to "help with that problem." The salesman is surprised that the young man still seems so young, because he used to sleep a lot when he was younger. The young man says that if he flatters the old man too much, they might get "the wrong idea." The young
