The narrator wakes up in the middle of the night to find that his boss is about to kiss him. He's worried that he's about to fall asleep and that someone is going to wake him up. He tries to get his mind off of the kiss, but it doesn't work. He wakes up to the sound of his boss's voice. He tells himself that he slept well the night before, and that the next morning he'll be ready to go back to work.
