The narrator is on his way to the beach when he hears the sound of someone's footsteps. It's Hiroyuki, and he's about to go out for a walk when he sees the sound. He's worried that his wife is going to get lost in the sand, so he goes out with Hiroyuki's taiga, who's also there. The two of them go for a long walk, and then Hiroyuki tells his wife that he'll be returning to the hotel the next day. He doesn't want her to be alone with him, he says, because she's going to have sex with someone else. He also tells her that Hiroyuki is in love with her, and that he wants to marry her. She's not interested in him, but she'll let him marry her anyway.
