In this chapter, we learn that the young woman we met earlier in the novel is now in her mid-thirties, but she's still pretty good at sex. She's a bit of a slut, though, and we're not sure what to make of her. She tells us that she used to live in a small town in the country, but the lightning from the storm destroyed her whole "ment building down" , and now she plans to move into a big city. We're pretty sure that's what she means by "living with sunny" . We also learn that she has a crush on a guy named "Chevy," but she can't figure out how to get him to fall in love with her.
