In this short scene, the young narrator, who is now in his mid-thirties, laments the fact that he has become a "slut" and wishes that he could "swallow" and "turn smack smack" on the young woman who has made him his lover. He tells her that he will not "hug" her, but will instead "swallow" her and "squirrel" her with his "stomach slam" . The young narrator then tells the audience that he is about to call in a "con tractor" when suddenly he hears a knock at the door. He rushes out of the house and finds that the woman is not there. He asks the woman to pull him out so that he can talk to her. He then tells her to "bounce" if the young man comes to see him.
