He's surprised that the narrator didn't notice that his boss, Touya, was there. The guardian asks if the event is going to be too plain, and the narrator says it's because they're trying to market something to the general public instead of to the company's own customers. He also says that Touya's been nagging him lately, and that's why they've been trying to make the event simple. He thanks the guardian for taking care of him, and says he'll do it again.
