The young master of Song's estate comes in and complains that all the men sent out to find him have failed to show up. He's afraid that the return of nan li will make it more difficult for them to take over the island. He asks the sulky little boy to go to sleep. The little boy is so excited that he can't sleep. He runs off to find his room.
