The next morning, Yon wakes up. He asks Yon if his powers have gone, and Yon replies that they've gone. Yon asks if he feels anything when he holds Yon's hand, but Yon says that he doesn't feel anything at all if he holds his hand. Yon tells Yon that his powers blocked his trust in Yon, and that's why his powers went away. Yon tries to convince Yon that he still wants to try and use his powers. Yon refuses, saying that he's already tried so many other ways. Yon reminds Yon that if he loses his powers, it means that Yon is still running away with him.
