The next morning, the new captain of the county is asked if he is the one who cut off the arm of the old captain. The old man says that he is, and that he merely took an arm to defend himself. The new captain tells the old man that he can appeal to the new leader on his behalf, and he says that this is why random dogs and cats come to bully his people.
