In this chapter, the teacher tells us that a student has caught his interest in him. The two of them are sitting together, and the teacher thanks him for his report and for the book he has borrowed. The student asks the teacher to make him some coffee, but the teacher refuses, saying that he doesn't like tea. The first time they met, the student smelled the same. The teacher is so sorry that he tries to kiss the student, but he can't seem to get it out of his head. He tells the student that he's just trying to be nice to him, and he apologizes for being so mean to him the first time. He's glad that he found something other than books to be interested in.
