We learn that this is the first time that the girl has ever been in a public place with anyone, and she doesn't know what to make of it. She wants to know why the man would say such a thing to her, and why she hasn't been acting more like a boyfriend or girlfriend. She's also curious about what it's like to be in love with someone other than her. She wonders why the girl hasn'ta boyfriend, and the girl says that she'd rather be with someone else than with Ayu. She also says that the man is the one she wants to be with, and that she can't figure out why he wouldn't say anything like that to her. In fact, she says, everything is "the opposite" of what she thought it would be to date the girl, because she likes her so much. She says that if she were going to hate the girl over something, she would never ask her out. She adds that she has had many fantasies with the girl herself, and if she had a crush on someone else, she could never have asked her out, since she would have hated the girl for it. We're also told that Ayu has seen a circular rainbow on the girl's dress, and he wishes they could see it together again.
