A few days later, Adachi gets a call from his father saying that his friend, who works for the construction company, has gone to see him. He's upset because the company's redevelopment plan didn't have to be done. He tells his father that he's leaving the company because it's his job to be a bad guy. He also tells him that if the plan is not necessary, he'll cancel it and go back to working for the company.
