In this chapter, we learn that the tailor has come to tell his father that the shopping district in which he grew up will soon be closed down. The tailor tells him that he has come because he has no control over the situation. The real estate consul, Miike, comes in and tells the tailor that the people of the district are against the closing down of the shopping mall. Miike says that he is giving out expensive codroe to the people in order to be on their good side. When Miike asks the tailor if he is Miike from middle school, the tailor replies that Miike is just a middle-schooler's "joke" and Miike should get off Miike's bad side.
