This chapter opens with Yui's boss, Shu-Liang, telling him that he's forced to come to the party because he wants to be with his "boyfriend" . He's shocked to find out that Yui is wearing something completely different than usual, and that she's changed her face completely. He doesn't know what to make of this, but he does know that she has a side of her that's completely different from his own. He asks her to take a picture of him eating a pancake with straw on it, and she takes one. She's so excited that she can't wait to show it to him. She asks him to hold on to her plate while she eats, and he says that no one will be eating the pancake, so he'll just have to wait and see what happens. He tells her that it's a big step for her to do something she thought she couldn't do, but that she did a good job today. She tells him that they'll go back when the crowd is less crowded. He says that if he could just go one time, he would be able to do it.
