It's been a long time since we've seen the gang, and now that they're back at school, we catch up with Huck and his friends. Huck's bored with school, and he's wondering why the gang has to go to the redbud garden. He's also bored with the fact that he can't play with the other kids because he doesn't have the energy to do so. Um, that's right, Huck is bored. He thinks about the time when he was a kid, when a queen wanted her daughter's skin color to be the same as that of snow. The queen wanted to kill her daughter, but the stepmother managed to get her daughter to meet a prince who was using his power to get the princess to marry him. The prince and the princess ended up together, and Huck is heartbroken.
