The factory is reset, and it seems that the system is trying to destroy everyone in it, including the two of them. They're all freaking out because they can't figure out what's going on, and they don't know how to get out of it. The only thing they can do is run away, and that's what they do. They run away from the factory, and then they run away again, and again, until they realize that they've already run out of things to do.
