The next morning, Huck finds himself in the middle of a conversation with his mom about the hotel's security. He's worried that the butler has bribed the reporters to let them in on the secret of the room where they're supposed to be staying. Huck tells his mom that the hotel is going to have to deal with all of the complaints about the butler's behavior. The hotel is also preparing a lawsuit against the butler, who was fired immediately. Huck asks his mom to read the apology to the butler and explain it to him. She reads it carefully and then tells Huck to go away. Huck says he's going to follow him around until Huck agrees to go for a walk with him once.
