The next morning, the narrator wakes up to find himself on the roof of the brothel where he was last seen. He's not sure what to do with himself, but he's determined to do something about it. He asks the brothel owner if he can stay for breakfast. The brothel owner says he'll be staying for the night, but the narrator doesn't want to take any more money from him. He tells him to stop looking down on other people like that. He says he didn't mean what he said when he said he'd be using his body as a sexual object, and that's why he was so harsh on the man. He also says that the man's interpretation of what he meant was too harsh, and he wonders how he could interpret a man who would use his body in such a sexual way. He wonders if the loan company is printing money to pay for the loan, or if they're just trying to make money off of him. The narrator asks if the man is a "person with that profession" , and the man says he isn't. He goes on to say that if he hadn't borrowed so much money, he would've put all his clothes on, and shivered if he had known that it was snowing outside. He wants someone to help him stop his life from going this way, and asks if anyone can help him open the cctv to find out how he got to this point.
