In this chapter, we learn more about the moon clan and its relationship to the vampire family. We learn that the professor and his wife are both members of the moon family, and that they have inherited the ability to "clotting blood" from their mothers. We also learn that their mother gave them the moon pearl, which the professor says will help them find their mother. The bead is in the bag of the big boss. The big boss asks where the bead is, and the little boss answers that it is in his bag. The little boss says that he hid the bead when he was being frisked by the authorities, and he will give it back now if the bead has fallen into the wrong hands. He says that if the master finds out about it, he will kill him.
