They're just tyrants, they say, and moved next door, so they'll have to interact more often. The editor tells the time traveler that he's here to find the missing zian lu. He also tells the editor that the name "bai" in the time prediction means "killing each other." The editor says that he will destroy all of the bai family in one day, and he'll send men to find yun lu and his son.
