About This Chapter
It's game 32, and we're told that Linfair is back to his old self. He's back to being the strongest player in the tournament, and he's ready to take on the final opponent of the tournament: shinjo. Linfair's not happy about this, because he thinks that it's unfair that he'll have to take a minute off from his training to face the man who's stronger than him. But he doesn't want to lose to shinjo, because that's the only way he can beat the man he thinks is the strongest. He thinks that if Linfair can beat shinjo in one minute, then he should be able to beat anyone else in his division. LinFair is all, "Gee, I wish I had a chance to play against Geronimo, because I'm sure he'd be a better player than I am." But Linfair isn't having any of that. He says that he hasn't lost to anyone in his life, and that he just beat Geroniimo because he was the first to return the "tomahawk." Linfair thinks that Geroni's attack on Linfair wasn't good enough, because Linfair didn't have enough strength to move Geroni, and Geroni responded by hitting Linfair with a tomahawk of his own. This makes Linfair think that he still has some way to go before he can take on Geroni. He wonders if Geroni has ever lost to Linfair, since Linfair has fought Geroni before, and never lost. He also says that if he wins against shinjo tomorrow, he will be the last player to face him. This means that if shinjo loses tomorrow, then Linfair will have to face maguma, who is the last remaining opponent of his division, before shinjo's last
