The narrator is watching a wedding dress being worn by one of his college friends. The narrator says that he has always thought that anyone could get married as long as they were young and beautiful. He says that when he was a child, he thought anyone could marry when they were grown up. Now, however, he thinks that anyone can get married anytime they want. He tells the girl that if she wants to, they can all stay the night at the college to make the wedding costumes. He asks her if she is a model or a girlfriend, and she says that she is. He then asks her why she suddenly wants to get married. She tells him that she has loved women for a long time, but she gave up on the idea of getting married because she wanted to know how it felt to wear a dress. She says that even if two women could have the wedding ceremony, it would be impossible for her to do it. She then asks if she can kiss the bride, and the narrator says yes.
