Mizuho, a thirty-year-old office employee, is in the middle of a conversation with his friend iwashita, a twenty-one year old girl, when they run into each other in the hallway outside the school gymnasium. Mizuhi tells his friend that he works for a company that runs a fitness center, and that he loves the place because it's full of "cute young guys" who go there after work to get some exercise. He's also very fond of his friend Hayate, a young man who works for the same company, and who is his "favorite member of staff" at the gym. He says that he misses his friend, but he also misses Hayate's "per sonality" and "killer cute smile" . He also says that Hayate is a "playboy" who gets out of the gym whenever he sees a girl in the crowd. MiZuho says he's glad Hayate got out of there, because he looks like a "whole gaggle of girls" were swarming him earlier. He asks if they can meet again, and they both agree that they'll be able to do so if they don't have to work. They also agree to meet again every week if they're not busy at work, so they can get to know each other better. They're both very excited to see Hayate again, especially since he looks so much younger than he actually is.
