About This Chapter
In this chapter, we get a brief description of the relationship between Nemo and his grandfather. The grandfather tells Nemo that he's lucky that Nemo is such a good swimmer. He praises Nemo's swimming skills and says that he hopes that Nemo will be able to learn to swim in the future. Nemo says that if the grandfather doesn't block his account, he'll find Nemo and kill him. He also says that the grandfather is asking too much of Nemo, and that's why the grandfather's body is getting soaked in the water. Nemo thanks the grandfather for his kind words, and the grandfather tells him to enjoy his life. He says that it's his duty as a god's spirit to raise a good one, and he thanks Nemo for teaching him how to swim. Nemo asks the grandfather if he thinks this is his first time meeting a holy spirit, and when the grandfather says no, he says that this is just his way of saying thank you to God for all the trouble that Nemo has caused him. Nemo tells the grandfather that he used to get into trouble because of Nemo and because of the dog on the boat, and now he wants to be like his father. He asks if Nemo would like to do the laundry, and Nemo says yes, and then he goes on to praise Nemo for his hard work. Nemo is annoyed that he has to talk to a god like that, and asks if he can play the remote games with the grandfather. When the grandfather replies that he owes him a lot for going to the remote game, the grandfather calls him a "bastard" and a "buntard" . He wonders if there is an "olympus" god by the name of Nemo.
