In this short scene, Shmoop explains that he is the one who arrested the two young men, and that he cannot let them know that he was responsible for all of their actions. He is angry that they did not return the previous day because they had gone to the girls' dormitory at night, and he blames the police for bailing them out in the morning. He also accuses them of being mean to him, and of being too mean to his cousin, who is the girl they arrested. He asks them to change the reason for their arrest, but they refuse to listen to him. He tells them to bring him medicine for his cousin's cousin, and they agree to do so. They go back to the dormitory to retrieve some items, and when they arrive at the wrong building, they apologize and share a comment from the silence of the room. They apologize for their behavior, and then Shmioop makes a costume for her upcoming performance. She explains that she has to wear the costume because she is still on her period, and she still has to perform on stage
