On the train back to Sofia's house, Dr. Landi tells her that she's going to her parents' house instead of Dr. Manette's. He's happy to see her, but he's also worried about her health. He tells her to go inside and he'll take her to the doctor's office. He wants to know where they're going, and he asks if she'll be able to drop him off at his parents' place instead. She says no, and they go inside. He asks her where she fainted, and she tells him that it was probably due to her fatigue and her low blood pressure. She wants to see the images again, but she can't stop talking about how happy she is to be back home. She tells him she'd like to become a "skilled psychologist" like him, and that she wants to get out of this town as quickly as possible.
