Back at the police station, the young man tries to get his dad to let him go, but he's not having it. He tells his dad that he can do whatever he wants with the family, and that he'll be back soon. The police chief is shocked, and tells his son to go home. The young man tells his father that he brought shame on the family when he did it, and the police chief tells him that he brings shame on his family by being selfish, superficial, and only cares about having fun. The boy tells his parents that he hates them, and they both treat him like a child. He goes to his room and tells them that he doesn't want them to treat him this way. He says that he has had it, that they treat him the way they always treat him, and he wants to show them that being ashamed really looks like. He wants them to know that he will show them what shame looks like when he shows them that they bring shame on their family.
