In this chapter, Kim Seung-hyun explains that he cannot be friends with Jeon Min-woo, because she is a "shaman" . He tells her that she is not a "real" human being, but a "supernatural" being who can "see ghosts" and even "talk to them." He explains that his parents are "a shaman" , but he doesn't understand why they would be upset about him not playing with her. He says that he likes her, and he will go to her house the next day to play with her, even though he does not want to go home. She tells him that he is having a "black bean sauce-myeon" today, and that he would never know what the words meant to her. She says that a friend of hers insulted her because he was "creepy," and her mom forbade her from playing with him because she was afraid of him. She explains that the day before, a friend insulted her and told her that "he's creepy," and that she should not play with him.
