The next morning, Huck wakes up in the middle of the night to find that he's been fired from his job at the soul ship. He's bummed, but he doesn't know what else to do. Huck tells himself that at least he'll have a job to fall back on. Huck's not sure what to do with himself now that his job has been taken away. He can't sleep without thinking about the fact that his employer is using him as a "building block" .
