The reaper tells his master that he owes him a huge debt of gratitude for saving his life. He tells him that all of the reapers in Japan have left, and he wonders where the other one is. The master says that the reaper was there to help him, not to kill him. He says that he wishes there were a way for him to help his master cope with the loss of his job.
